Camera in movement

Because objects are in the distance, we have a weak sense of movement of the actor. Close objects increases the impression of movement. The impression of movement is stronger if the objects are in front of the actor.

Positions of actors without the establishing shot

The first actor is on the left side of the vehicle. The second actor is on the right side of the vehicle. The third actor is in the middle of the vehicle. We can see where are the actor without the establishing shot.

Detecting the position of actors

The first actor is on the right side and looking to the left. Another character is on the left side looking to the right. Establishing shot shows us that the actors turn their backs. If we are fimming in this way the viewer immediately realizes that the actors turn their backs. In this way we show and other actor.

Unreveal the space

Viewers will be interesting if the space gradually unravel. If we show the whole space that won't be so interesting.

Orentation point

This is the first actor, actors in the background on the left are orientation point. This is the second actor, actors in the background on the right are orientation point. We see where the characters are without establishing shoot.

Actors behind one to another

We see two actors opposite each other. We now know that one actress is standing a front of the actor and one behinf the actor.

Working with lights

All the lights are off. Nowthe main light is turned on. Now the side-light is turned on on the other side. Now two lights are turn on, main and secondary. Now we are adding the backlight. The atmosphere can be changed by changing the color in the film. This is for example horror atmosphere.

Complicated handling with camera

This is a complicated handling of the camera. We see the three actors in the conversation. Although we have no establishing shot girl is used for orientation in space in this dialogue. Not  using the girl as an orientation  we would be lost.
